Omega 56 yachts offer unsurpassed value in features and price. This one is the four cabin version in which the two front cabins have been combined to form one large cabin. There is a door between the large and the cabin.  Pressure hot/cold system, teak interior, plush velour upholstery, the latest navigation equipment and efficient sailing system, including full batten three reef main and roller furling genoa, and oversized winches are some features normally found only in larger yachts. The safety and anchor gear exceed Coast Guard requirements for the size of vessel. A power plan using a Mercedes Benz OM 617 A diesel with a 500 liter tank will provide a cruising range of more than 800 km. Selling price:

The asking price is USD 150 000 if the boat is sold through a broker.

If we sell it privately, we will reduce this price to USD 145 000.  Furthermore, we will give a discount of 5 000 for work we believe should be done on the boat before it is in top shape again.  This means that the boat now will be sold as it is for USD 140 000.

In the case of the mainsail I highly recommend the twin ply leech. This
will strengthen the leech and reduce the risk of the dacron stretching with
sail use. The spinnaker I've quoted heavily re-inforced luff, leech and
foot to protect the sail from shattering.

  • Varnishing downstairs in the boat.  Quoted price in Phuket:  USD 1500.  This is not very important, but as it would cost 10 times as much to do the same job in Europe or in the State, we believe it should be done in Thailand.
